breast cancer awareness month

This October, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are hosting a very special pop-up dinner on the 17th of October at 19:00 at our event space in the center of Copenhagen.

Since I founded Veatery in 2020, my sister Clara and I have been privileged to grow and manage it side by side together with our wonderful team of colleagues.

That journey, however, began with our mother. She was the one who encouraged me to take the leap and start Veatery, and from the very beginning she was our greatest supporter. When we lost her to breast cancer in 2022, we lost our mother and the very person who inspired Veatery to come to life.

Although she is no longer with us, her presence continues to shape Veatery - in the food we prepare, the tables we set, and the way we approach everything we do. This dinner is our way of honoring her memory and celebrating the enduring influence she has on our lives and our work.

As part of this tribute, we will be donating 200 DKK per sold seating to support the fight against breast cancer.
